Today we travelled from Gifu to Nagoya and then to Shin-Osaka and finally to Takarazuka – a town in the Hyogo prefecture that is reasonably close to both Kobe and Osaka with much of the population commuting to these large nearby cities for work.
Our Japanese tour organiser Tazuko McLaren has family and many friends in Takarazuka so performances here are always part of the Isabella a cappella tours.
In the evening we had a public concert at a local restaurant called Ganko Tei – a venue where we have performed in the past (see the photos from the 2013 concert here) This venue is a beautiful traditional style Japanese restaurant and we were lucky to have a good audience for the second show of the tour.
