Seijin Shiki (new adult) ceremony at Yamato Takada City Hall. Fabulous 20 year old girls and guys in traditional dress with 2 hour hairdo’s and mega sparkle! Young guys playing up for our cameraman were a bit rowdy for 10am! One of our largest audiences to date of 1200+.
Paid a visit to the grave of Fr. Tony Glynn in Nara (elder brother of Fr. Paul who attended our Sai-daiji temple concert with Atsuko Arai on Saturday.) Folliowing this we had lunch and then performed at the nearby St Josephs nursing home which was established by Fr Tony Glynn. This performance was warmly received by the residents and staff. After this event we moved back to Yamato Takada for a temple performance . We were joined for this performance by a wonderful guitarist from Nara as well as the mayor of YamatoTakada, Masakatsu Yoshida.
