Solveig’s passionate love of music started off early, growing up in a musical family, being immersed, and getting a feel for it when young. Prince was her first-ever music idol, who, of course, was also her big brothers pop idol at the time.
Now, Argentinian tango and classical music have a special place in her heart, and she has expressed this through clarinet for around 12 years. Playing the clarinet with Orkesta Lismore and briefly with Lismore City Concert band was a fun and exciting way of improving her skills and feeling community connection.
Before Isabella, she sang with The Sweet Renaissance Choir, singing motets, madrigals and sacred medieval music.
Northern rivers flower child and second-generation local Solveig is enjoying immensely being part of ‘Isabella A Capella’, and singing with such talented and friendly musicians.
